Kansas prep running back Bryce Brown, who has verbally committed to the Canes for 2009, ran for 263 yards and 4 TDs last week.

Brown, whose brother Arthur is a highly-regarded freshman linebacker at Miami, ran for 109 yards and 5 TDs the previous week.

As for the current Canes, it was announced that backup safety had leg surgery and will miss an unspecified amount of time.
